Does anyone have any ideas? When I open a file in Photoshop 7 with blue sky and blue water, it changes to purple sky and purple water. No there is nothing wrong with the monitor, I am running duel monitors that are calibrated just fine, the file opens fine in other programs, photo impressions, picture Project, image zone, etc. any file I open with Photoshop now, has a purple tint to it. This problem just started on this computer and I am running Photoshop 7 on two other computers and they work just fine. All of the color settings are set to their defaults, and I verified this by looking at the other Photoshop installations. I had recently installed the Microsoft color control panel Applet for Windows XP v 1.0, but I had also install this on the other computers without a problem. I uninstalled the applet anyways but it did not solve the problem. I had recently installed the P.I.M. (print image matching) plug-in for Photoshop and I was not sure if this was the problem, so I uninstalled that also and it did not solve the problem. If I go to the color settings and change: RGB from (sRGB IEC1966-2.1) to (monitor Samsung 21 Syncmaster), the color looks better but that would be treating the symptoms not solving the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Randy
