Bonjour! When sp2 was out,i didn't instal it because lot of critics. But now , from this september,Microsoft don't support update of Xp if Sp2 is not installed. So i ask me if it is time for Sp2 for me.My question:someone meet incompatibilty Sp2 and Poser 6 or other graphic softs? thanks

I installed SP2 long time ago and had no probs with any software after installation. I think XP SP2 closes a lot of holes and its absolutely necessary if one is connected to the internet.

I have been using SP2 for the last month or so and have had no problems running Poser 6, Bryce, Vue, or any other of my software. And yes, I agree that it is an absolute necessity for security, especially the built-in popup blocker which has prevented unwanted spyware installs on nmy computer several times since I installed it.

I've had SP2 for very long time now and have no problems at all with Poser5 or any of my other graphic softwares.

Thumbs up here, I have SR2 on both Home and Pro, I run Poser5 and 6, no problems. BUT BE SURE YOUR VIDEO CARD DRIVER is up to date. Recently I installed a new monitor and Poser6 began to crash on "save." I updated drivers to both the monitor and my vid card and the problem went away. BTW, SR2 very stable, very secure, very happy with XP. ::::: Opera :::::
