You can either use raytraced shadows or a large shadow map (at least as large as the largest dimension of your render).
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I think your best bet would be.... 1) Render the girl and dress with a 0.5 strength shadow with your original settings (on the main light) 2) Remove her dress and do a shadow-only render and merge with the render from step 1) in photoshop.
