Subject: Winter Images

Thanx to all who post snowy winter images. I'm so glad to see them coz I've got on clue as to the experience we've got summer all year round here... Not that I don't enjoy it but it would be nice to be 'in' the autumn colours and see the first flakes of snow... So thanx for bringing me closer...

Youre wellcome, sweetie.....have never thought of that, not having 4 seasons...will remember this when I'm wining about the cold...or the wet...or the cold wet, which is the worst combination :) LOL!!!! Puss ;)

Guess these guys would rather be where you are, Vera, but I guess then they would complain about the heat ;-) Funny how things that seem so "normal" for some of us are so "special" and "strange" for others... I remember a comment I got for a "a walk in the forrest"-image where there were tons of fallen leaves on the ground. A common fall-sight around here, but the person who commented came from Israel and was so fascinated, because he had never seen that where he lived... Drea

Ooooo, I love the frost on the flowers. Another great wintery image. I knwo what you mean Drea. I WAS used to snowy winters until age 12, and I've lived in tropical and sub-tropical zones ever since then. :)

I like all of the snowy images and the colorful leaves too! I moved from a place that had that 23 years ago and still haven't been back. I would love to have the opportunity to photograph ice and snow, but then I wouldn't want to stay LOL! Brenda :)

Thanx for the images guys!!! They are brilliant. I wish I could find some really nice summer/tropical pics for you all to warm you up in winter but I wouldn't know what to shoot... I don't think I could live in the cold I'm a summer child but would love to visit :D Ideas to warm you up? Thanx again!!!

Hey cold is Cool! I doubt though if my wife agrees...here she is about 3500ft up a Scottish mountain wishing for a nice tropical beach somewhere hot.
