Hey guys, i have a favor to ask to all those modellers out there (cuz i really suck at it): I am looking for a set of Star-Trek-Like insignia and award ribbons for the Michael 3 Casual Safari Shirt. I can texture them myself, even place them on the shirt myself, but i need a modeller to model them (because once again, i suck, lol) Here is a concept pick for what i mean by "Fruit Salad" fruitsalad2mo.jpg Here is a quick photoshop of some of the insignia i need, i will make the rest when i get home from work tonight. s6do.jpg

If you don't need depth, you could place them on a single-sided square using a transparency map...or place it directly on the shirt texture.

And if you use Poser 5 or Poser 6 you can get the detailed 3D effect on the surface with a displacement map. a greyscale texturemap.

Ive thought of both, but unfortunately I still need actual models, and the request has extended to collar and epuelette pins as well, lol. I would use the texture directly, but unfortunately I do need depth for the sake of acurate specularity, and displacement wouldnt help either since Im not actually using poser to render, im importing everything into 3ds Max and rendering it there. Max doesnt like displacement unless you have about a billion polygons, lol

Does Max hav a function that would allow you to extrude path(s) traced from a background image?
