I have noticed here of late that some well known texture sellers and even one of the top ten renders in the e-frontiers contest seem to have what looks like an error to me when it comes to light reflecting off of the eye (or in the case of the top ten off of eyeglasses). I'll try to illustrate graphically. If you can accept this as and eye "(+)", they make the reflections mirror images of one another so they look like this: ('+,)(,+') rather than looking like ('+,)('+,). If this gets across to anyone.(' and , are representing light reflections.) The only difference I have seen may be a SLIGHT shift to the left or right of the reflection depending upon the distance from the light. My opinion comes from looking at a lot of portrait photographs where eye reflection was really noticable. Am I missing something or just plain wrong? Wouldn't the modelers know this? Wouldn't the people that judged the best renders know that the girl reflected in the glasses shouldn't be mirror images of one another? Sorry if this has already been hashed to death. Cheers, RWB64
