Hi all, I just got Carrara 5 (beta, of course, until the regular version ships) and I am trying to do the Little Planet tutorial that is on Eovia's website. Apparently the objects that are used in the tutorial (the car, buildings, signs, etc.) are supposed to be on some Carrara CD (I'm assuming it is from another version) and since I don't have the actual CD because I bought the downloadable version, does anyone know if there is any way to get these files to use with the tutorial? Should I ask Eovia? Thanks!

I don't think content files accompany the beta. Good question though. I know I got the content files that came with the physical shipment of Carrara 4. This time around I want to get the electronic version instead. I'm wondering? Will the content files will accompany the final electronic version of Carrara 5? Does anyone know for sure? Steama

Hi, Yes all the content files will be with the download version same as the CD version. :-) Ringo

I thought newcomers didn't get the C5 beta? I need to see if I can get Eovia to let me get ahold of it then, since I had 2, skipped 3, and bought 4 so I could get 5.

Well, I bought Carrara 3d Basics on ebay, and decided that I wanted the upgrade. I didn't even really play with 3d Basics all that much before deciding to go with getting C5, thus the "I'm new to Carrara". :)

Hmmm, now you've got me worried! They took my money and gave me the download link for the C5 beta, and it took the CD Key number from 3d basics when I installed it...I hope it's okay....maybe I should contact Eovia to make sure?

They'll email you a download link to the content CD when C5 comes out.
