This does make for great crumbling surface, I've had some great luck with negative lattice too. I like the looks of that wall.

Not to rain on your parade, but neg terrains as booleans is in the manual tutorial in "how to make a lake". Sorry.

If i see this right, I did know about using the terrains on a column to make it look smashed/cracked, so I suppose this would be the same.....and I'm a totally modeling challenged person too! LOL

Another really fun one to play with is intersection!

Nice job. Thanks for posting. I like to use booleans for making tunnels, caves, and mines. The painted lattice is used to carve out the tunnel out of the terrain mountain/host rock.
