I have this cave terrain made in Bryce and a torch with flame modeled in Rhino. I need to know how to get a ball of light to surround the flame on the end of the torch. Any help is deeply appreciated.

Parent a sphere prop to the torch and use these settings. Also, you'll want to disable shadows on the sphere prop (properties panel).

The subject "poser cave and torch scene" just make me smile, I never had comment on this scene : http://fourre-tout.chez-alice.fr/cave.jpg
Is lighting ok ?
you can find the candelabra as free props on Poser4&5 page. Enjoy

That is a lovely candelabra and scene, but why is she about to get shot in the butt?

An array of 6 spotlights around the flame, arranged in an octahedron, with distance start at 1 Poser unit, distance end at about 20-50 Poser units, angle start at 90, angle end at 150, yellow-orange colored, will simulate a fire spotlight and make sure the flame is bright. Not as good as a true spotlight with volumetrics, but you'd need Poser 6 (or Bryce) for that.
