Hi all. :) Does anyone know when the 2005 Christmas Giveaway begins? I downloaded SO MANY wonderful things last year, and I'm really looking forward to it again this year!

Heh, you're assuming that there will be one... what if they decided not to this year? ;)

Considering all the complaints there were last year, I wouldn't blame them if they decided to skip it this year. :-P

What were people complaining about???

What complaints? I must have missed a few messages... I was too busy downloading all the great gifts everywhere on the web I suppose. ;o))

Oh, the usual. I can't use it because I don't have the figure/don't own the clothing, etc. It's all an evil plot to force us to buy stuff.

sigh What is WRONG with people? :(

Well I sure hope we won't pay for those leechers. As Ardiva said, you'll find that sort everywhere (on the Web and in real life).

Quote - Randy....sadly that happens everywhere.
Yeah, some just can't say thanks and leave it at that. No one has to give anything away, but they do out of the goodness of their hearts and a desire to make people happy. They do it for no return other than a "thank you", and a good feeling of having made someone's day. It's amazing how some people with big mouths can spoil it for everyone else.

I know what you mean. Even though I wasn't using any of the Daz characters at the time and I was using Poser3, I still loved what was posted and was able to make use of much of it. Everything on that list was very well crafted. I was amazed and impressed with both the skill and the generosity of the merchants(and other kind folks) who donated to that event. It is a crying shame that they received evil for kindness. :(

I must admit that's horrible. I love all the freebies I've ever seen, even the ones I can't use. So much time goes into 3D modelling that I'm blown away at how many freebies are even available.

Whoa! My stocking's overflowing, thank you Santa! :-) Btw, will any of that Vue stuff work in Poser or Bryce?
randym77 posted Fri, 02 December 2005 at 5:57 AM
No. They are in VOB and ATM format, for Vue only.
