Is it possible? I've got two versions of this object in a scene, one (version 2) that has the textures I like, so I want to save this version and then delete the 1st version and then add a second version 2 so that I'll have two of these the same in the same scene. Only I'd rather not have to re-assign all the textures all over again, as I'd never remember the precise settings anyway. HELP???

Select the object that's textures as you want, File>Save as>Material preset... and give it a name. Select the object you want to retexture, File>Merge... and select the preset you just saved. If you save to a DAZ|Studio content folder you can alos apply the preset by double-clicking on it in the Content palette.

Alternately, delete the 1st one and save the 2nd one as a scene. Then double-click the scene you just saved and the figure will open. You should now have 2 the same in the scene. If anything goes wrong, use Undo (ctrl-z). It will also undo your deletion. If you save a materials preset, it takes up a lot less space, but remember that you must apply it to that figure only (Mike, for example). Another figure may have different materials. You can save a pose preset too. mac

RHaseltine, Thanks. Complex isn't it? Will newer versions of DS allow you to just save the textured object instead? Do textures applied in Daz show up in Bryce? maclean, Er... I don't think that will work, as there is more in this scene than JUST the thing I want to change. Also, It's not a figure - it's a corridor section and the door for the corridor is also present in the scene, plus a few other things... Thanks all the same.
