After reviewing Onslow's instructions from his recent painting with light posting I decided to give it a try. I followed his instructions pretty closely. The smallest light I have on hand is one of those mini mag light that takes two aa batteries..I did try putting some foil over the end of the light, then poking a small hole in the center. That seems to work pretty well, but for some odd reason I didn't try that for this particular photo. I used a black matboard as a background and one as a base on top of a coffee table. My camera settings were 10s at f/25, ISO100, tungson white balance, 45 mm focal length, manual focus. I am definitely going to have to try some more of these painting with light photos. Thanks Onslow for the cool instrucions and inspiration to try this. :-)
