I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

If you put a cloud like that in an image people would moan that it wasn't realistic...

these are well known in America, and are often found to form over, and go through, various trailer parks..;) (Hey, I live in one, so I can make jokes about 'tornado magnets'..;)

Looks like an anvil cloud... And like pakled said, those usually are associated with tornado producing storms.

@erosiaart, it does look like that. @Bryster, they have been doing that for years..why do you think we have strange animals here ;) @Gog, i agree mate, if i saw an image with something like that in i would think it looked to fake. @ those that made comments about tornados, even though we are in a country that doesn't get many tornados we have had a few this year. 2 in bunbury so far but nothing like they get in the USA, thank god or i would be living unde-ground by now :)

I think there is a mothership hiding in there.

That is a really evil-looking cloud! My first thought when I saw it was "must be a tornado cloud",lol.

I saw one like this crossing the border from Oklahoma into Arkansas.(Fort Smith Arkansas) I think they call them "Wall Clouds" in tornado ally. Wicked picture. Tom

Spooky evil cloaked mothership cloud!

Swade posted Fri, 09 December 2005 at 9:14 PM

Yes indeed Tom... in Tornado Ally clouds that look like this one are called wall clouds and are definitely a precursor to tornadic activity. Awesome picture of a cloud with some power brewing in it Keith. 8)

I'm sure I seen this pic before hmm, cant remeber where though. Interesting all the same. Are you from Australia Dawg?

I never intended to make art.

TobinLam posted Sun, 11 December 2005 at 1:49 AM

I saw that picture and immediately thought wall cloud. It is an interesting fact that I have lived for 20 years in Tornado Alley and have yet to see a tornado. All my friends have, but I haven't.
