I get as annoyed as anyone when I get booted out with the "Too many sessions" message, but there's something to think about, too. When you add it up, this is a very real measure of just how successful Renderosity IS. I have YET to be here when there's LESS than TWO THOUSAND people people here.... that's fabulous! There are sites that would kill for that kind of interest. Yes, I DO get mad enough to bash the keyboard in frustration when I'm juuuuuust at the point of clicking "Send", and I get dumped out instead. I can imagine a little gremlin sitting somewhere, going, "Wait.... wait.... he's about to click..... NOW!", and I get whitescreen. well, maybe someday I'll get my hands on 'im and dream up something nasty, like making everything go RIGHT, instead. The staff amd members should be proud of this site, glitches and all. Lou.

Thanks for the kind words Lou. We are looking into the rash of errors and site slowness. We hope to have these resolved soon. Sorry for the problems and thanks for your support. CLint

Forums are fine tonight. But I can't get into the store. How can you sell or buy anything if this is happening ?

I get the site slowness thing all the time, obviously, but in the past month I haven't seen a single SQL error. For me, it always manages to connect eventually, unless I just give up first. But, I agree; in spite of the few complaints I've made, I rate this site highly and think that the people running it do a great job for the most part. In The Spotlight, Tim alluded to the possibility of going BBphp. Personally, I'd rather regularly have to wait, if that's the best that Bondware can do, rather than see this place become just another-in-a-million bulletin boards.

True, The phpbbs sites have to put up with software that works. Much better to keep plugging away with this forum software setup. Slow and inept.

I guess it depends on how deperate you are to see the latest render of Vicki 3 wearing the latest Hot Item...or not wearing the latest anything. Renderosity speeds up and slows down, and while waiting in between cycles, there are plenty of other similar sites out there.

Suckass.
Google never has these problems. Google is much bigger than Rendo, but manages to stay fluid. Google's income makes it possible. Rendo is going to have to address this very soon.

All I can say to you children making wise ass comments. If you don`t like Renderosity, leave, and go crying to you mommies.

Bonestructure, Which Gods do YOU know?..... I'd like to make their acquaintance..... As for slow.... I'm stuck with a dialup connection that STARTS at 26.4 Kbaud, and bogs down to 2.6 on a download.... Bellsouth does not, and will not cover this area for DSL for several years... cable refuses to cover it, either... Build my own personal SatCom system, maybe?.... sometimes, i think a courier service would be faster. Lou.

I'm on dialup too, Can't addoed anything better. I usually connect between 38 and 42. Once or twice I've hit 45. Why they call these things 56k modems I dunno.

I must apologise, it seems that I caught a bad header before it was corrected.... No, apparently Google is NOT being bought, or any offers being made... somebody half asleep at the keyboard I'd expect..... Again, sorry. Lou.

Didn't believe it anyway, Given the immense success google is enjoying, and the business philosophy of its founders, they'd be complete idiots to sell it. In fact the last unconfirmed rumour I heard was that google was considering buying AOL

If you don't take rumors seriously, you can get a lot of entertainment out of them. Lou.

Nice patronizing rah-rah junk, Mejed. Are you on the staff? If not, you should apply - you will really fit in!
