I have had no problems with SR2 until this evening - I tried to open a Poser 6 file I had created before SR". It won't open. Anyone else had this problem? DigitalDreamer

Did it justnot open, or did poser crash. I had some funny crashes yesterday at poser startup, and freezes, but today it's working fine again so far. Love esther

Poser crashed b4 I could find out if the CR3 wanted to open; tried it with several other Poser 6 files created under SR1 and none of them will open.

Did you open poser first and then open the file from within poser?

I was working on more than one file before installing SR2 and, though I did think about putting the installation off until I'd finished those files, the Service Release installation worked fine for me and I went on to complete the two or three files I was playing with. No problems. The software is still a bit buggy and I was working on some tough files: one with reflections and one with a lot of displacement. It's been kind of hard. Slllooowww render/raytrace times. Wondering if you installed any other software or changed your system in some other way. Or perhaps some of your resources were moved. Sometimes problems occur when the software can't find a geometry file or texture ... Best Wishes, Rance

Rance, no changes to the location of resources - only other thing I did was install shaderspider. Estherau - I opened Poser then tried to open the files(s) in question; no joy!

And of course you've restarted your puter and tried again, haven't you?
