How do you turn a other charater around without messing up its legs , like to make them face each other...

I belive you can select 'body' for the figure and use the rotate dial. Sam

Sam is correct. Select the character you want to turn. Make sure you have BODY selected. Then rotate it with the ROTATE X,Y,Z dials until it is properly oriented, then move it to the proper location.

If you know what you are doing, go into the CR2 file with a text editor and find these lines for each leg;s IK chain:-
inkyChain rightLeg
{
on
name Right Leg
and replace "leg" by "legg" (and replace the "on" by "off"). That will stop all that stupid automatically setting the legs IK-on, for that model. That annoying mechanism also IK-parents the feet to the character's BODY. That is why the feet stick to the ground when you move his hip but not when you move his BODY. His BODY is an invisible part which is parent to his root segment.

Also try the Symmetry controls to mirror or swap things left to right.
