The Venice image wasnt too difficult to do, the longest bit was removing the un-wanted gondolas with the Rubber Stamp Tool. Then I used the Lasso Tool feathered to 30 pixels to select and area around the gondola, inverted the selection so that the next part only affected the area outside the gondola. Then I went to Filter>Stylise>Find Edges. Then Fade Find Edges and adjusted to taste. Next it was just a case of adding a Stroke>Canvas>Stroke>Canvas. Simple really.

This is great...thanks for the tips....I agree with Alpha, by sharing we can begin to learn. I am going to post one, based on both your willingness to open to this forum. Thanks...Jack, you are like my eyes to the world, and through your photographs which are like windows I can see through into other cultures, and ideas, and then you compliment it by sharing techniques.
