if we leave our pesonal, cultural, aestetic backgroud.
(example: japanese people use the word aoi that means both green and blue. that sounds funny to me, but i'll tell you what a child told me some time ago. she lived in my some house and one day she stopped me and said: "your eye's color is the same of my eye". "no, my little friend" i answered (me idiot) "my eyes are green/gray and yours are azure!". She answered "right! your eyes are of the some color of the sea and my eyes too". who is right? which category is good? that was a lesson for me)
if we leave the known psichovisual tricks and the optimizations of our brain-eye system.
consider only what you see here above and imagine we all had the some monitor with the some color calibration and the some ambient enviroment
i always thought we see the colors with slight differences:
i might see a picture like the the n. 1
you might see the some picture like the n.2
somebody else could see the some picture like the n.3
here i'm not considering a sickness like color blindness (daltonism) - i suppose we all see perfect, but each one's perception is slightly different.

i'll tell you a dream i made some years ago, but first let me explain the backdrop of the fact. I had a girlfriend and our lovestory was going towards it's natural end. it was one of the latest times we slept togather, perhaps the last. we has two single beds jointed, mine with a red sheet and hers with a blue one.
in my dream i was enployed in a circus, a trapeze flyng man (wow). during our daily exercises i suddendly started to see everything black/white for about one second, then switched again to color mode. this happened 4 or 5 times when i was fling. i was feared of this and thought i might loose my concentration and fall down. then i asked to my sister (in the real world i have no sisters) if she knew a good oculist.
she took me through a forest to a house in a clear, with a nice garden. there i could drink a tea with the oculist and talk about my problem. in the meantime i saw b/w allmost all the time. he told me he knew what my problem was and gave me some drops to put in my eyes. then told me to go home and don't worry. on the way back i could see the colors again. there was a wonderful field of blue roses. I was amazed and told this to my sister. she said they were red roses, not blue. hmm, strange, i thought. going on i noticed the leafs on the trees and the grass were brownish, like in autumn, but it was end april. later we come home. all colors were confused, my father looked like a gamilas officer (light blue skin) and my favourite mug was of an horrendous pink. bleeeahhh !!!
i realized i switched blue and red, and all the composite colors: blue became red, green (blue + yellow) became orange (red + yellow) and so on. my graphic engine in the brain was able to calculate this in real time, and i can swear i didn't use drugs of any tipe.
i suppose it is linked to the bed sheets, fear for the ending lovestory and my desire to mix my destiny with my old mate once again.

i hope my english was enough understandable.
a few words on my unfrequent posts here
i'm still working on my old projects [diceworld and the subspace submarine], but with a 5 month old child, it goes on really slow. what can i tell you, after a 9 month render, there will be at least 2 decades postwork!
since a lot of time elapsed between the latest two renders i posted here, i forgot to enable comments and ranking and don't want to repost it, but my ego would be proud to hear a couple of insults about my dali clock movement
thank you

I'm slightly blue-green blind (used to drive grade school people crazy by spotting the patterns for all 3 types..;)
Immediately top, I perceive the left panel is blue-green slightly, middle as a reddish, and right as green (the surface)
left bobbins yellow, center cyan, right magenta (sorry, I work on color printers a lot..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

very interesting,,the color illusion 3 phases-work...the images have a particular difference, the tones..and the light color. blue = more dark yellow = more clear red = more gray lighting..
