Im having a problem applying UVs back on to any of the generation 2 Daz meshes (Vic2, PTGirl, etc.) after they are exported out of Zbrush. Here is my workflow. Export a posed Vic2 out of Poser. Open in UVMaper Pro and export (save) the UVs with Export Group Names and Export Material Names checked. Import that mesh into Zbrush. At this point is where the problem startsI get this message: This mesh contains 40 nonstandard polygons (more than 4 sides). These polygons will be converted to quads and tri-sided polygons. Note:This error message is common when using any of the generation2 meshes in Zbrush, but is not a problem when just creating morph targets from a mesh that was in the default-zeroed position. When I open the exported ZBrush mesh back up in UVMapper, and try to Import the saved UVs, I get the Incompatable facet structure error message and cant apply the UVs. Sooo Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround? Or is this just not possible? SWAMP (Chuck) Note: This doesnt happen and I have no problems at all when using any of the Generation3 meshes (Vic3, Laura, Aiko3).
