Let us give honor to the underappreciated works.

Last time I presented the Salon des Refus was at the time of the community voting for the Halloween Contest. I presented a list of works I thought were getting a raw deal by being ignored. I still want to recognize the underappreciated works, but I think I’ve got a better way to go about it. Instead of me giving a list and people reacting to it, I want to hear who you were surprised not to see in the winners circle for the Holiday Contest. Please, post in the form of links to the contest gallery and comments as you see fit.

This thread is for honoring those we feel were left out, so if we can let’s avoid squabbles about so-and-so is better than so-and-so.

I thought it could have used a little more consistancy in the texturing, but it is still really good.

I liked this one too. It seemed to embodie past present and future. http://www.renderosity.com/contest.ez?contest_id=607&ShowQuestion=19262 This one number 3D15 I thought was adorable and had such a maigcal quality. I looked for one that meant family togetherness and sharing and at the moment couldn't find one. I will look again later. I think the images all were really well done. And me I put mine in the wrong catagory. LOL And I really had a lot of mistakes but that was because at the very last minute I decided to enter something and knew that it was far from par. LOL So tell us what ones you liked imahater. I think it's a wonderful way to wind down from a contest. Also this shows how differently we all think and what we like. :) Thank you. Hugs Maria

First off I would like to say congratulations to the winners. I did like a few of the ones that did win also but, here are some I loved in the 2d category that didn't make it.

Something about this one caught my eye I thought it was beautiful.

I thought this one was really well done and fit the theme well.

I thought this one was cute and it made me laugh.

Fit the theme beautifully I thought and was really put together so nicely.

I literally couldn't believe this one wasn't in the running somewhere. It was my favorite in the 2d category.

Another well done painting that didn't make it but I thought was really pretty.

I think for me to enter another contest here I will have to know who is judging. Someone qualified enough to judge shouldn't mind being named IMHO.
