"Please don't bash me to much"
My question is this; is there a way (or) morph that will add a little more length to V3s dresses and skirts?
Or will I have to wait for someone to have a brainstorm idea about creating mid-length skirts for the Victoria characters. Dont get me wrong, the outfits that are here at MarketPlace are very nice (a little short, but nice) but is Poser only about creating fantasy images? Cant we also have a little realism from time to time?
Really, the last time I pushed myself away from my computer and looked out the window; women where wearing
mid-length to knee-length dresses.
I cant recall any women wearing Poser length skirts (except behind closed doors. but that for another type of forum)
I know that there are some great looking gowns for V3 but I see them being used in gothic and wedding type settings. What Im searching for is a little more
common-life outfits, some being dull, others having a lot of fashion flare.
(We have that now but, only in crotch-length styles.)
So again I ask: is there any way to lengthen outfits for V3 characters without destroying them?

Check over at Daz for some longer dresses and outfits. Also, their clothes are more likely to have length morphs. Here at the Rosity marketplace, most merchants that create morphs for their clothes are more than happy to list them in their advertisements. Don't assume that if the skirt is short in the thumbnail (or in a gallery image by someone like me.. ) that the skirt/dress can't be lengthened. You've got to check the full ad to see what morphs, if any, are in the clothing. Here's one specific suggestion: BATlab's "Recruit Suit."

The trouble is, longer skirts tend not to conform too well, and this applies equally to morphed clothes. So for once, the market-place's preference for shorter than short skirts has a technical justification. However, all is not lost...
Have a look at my clothing downloads for some everyday outfits, including some longer styles.
If you have Poser 5 or 6, then the cloth room is the answer. You could even try making something yourself if you use my V3 QuickDress.
A subscription to PoserWorld is well worth the outlay. They have a wide selection of everyday items for all the figures.

My [MultiDress](http://poserpros.daz3d.com/store/viewitem.php?selitem=2968) has been turned into all sorts of different styles and it goes below the knees, along with morphs to make it even longer. My [Silmandriel](http://poserpros.daz3d.com/store/viewitem.php?selitem=2363) dress is quite simple (ankle length) and could be turned into just about anything you care to texture it to :)You can make any skirt or dress longer by making morphs, which is very simple using Poser magnets. BUT if you want realistic movement as well as length you'll have to add movement morphs, which is a little bit harder if you haven't done it before.
