That's not too bad for a start, as these things go, but stretch marks are very deliberate in the way they form. The belly stretches forward, and the marks appear where that stretching is happening, in a sort of sunburst pattern around the belly. The ones you have are really random and look very strange. Also you'll probably need to alter the texture a bit because stretch marks are pinkish colored, at least when they're forming and/or still stretching (by my third pregnancy, I didn't get them any more, but the old ones would get quite noticible). Try doing a Google Image search for pictures of real stretch marks to get an idea of the patterns they form, and also remember, stretch marks will often appear other places, such as the breasts and thighs and sometimes the buttocks, depending on how much weight a woman gains and how she gains it and how supple her skin is. My three-year-old once looked at my own tummy and said, "Hey, you got stripes!" so that's something to think about... ;-) bonni

Try it with bum or, if you are using P6 with displacement maps. As a guide look at trekkiegrrrl.dk for the vein maps for V3,M3,Freak. Merry Christmas

Having stretchmarks, myself (No, never pregnant, that's anatomically impossible, I was just a heavy kid) I find that mine go almost like parenthesis around my bellybutton. They wriggle, a little, either way, but for the most part, they stay curved around the bellybutton. What makes stretchmarks, basically, is that the under layers of skin don't get enough moisture/aren't elastic enough, and so they tear, leaving permanent scarring on the flesh. That's basically what they are, is a scar, without an external wound. They ain't just for ladies, Bonni, though the day a man gets pregnant is the day he becomes a billionaire.
