I love how this ship looks sooo real, as in 3d you know? The depth of it all is pretty cool!

reminds me of Starship Yamamoto (don't remember the name of the cartoon, but that's where they got the original 'frame'..;)
dang, this is depressing..every projected spaceship I wanted to model has already been done, and in better detail..that @#$S..;)

Oooh. Fire up that wave-motion cannon, Yuki! That's a very pretty render. Styalized and works like that.

Image was rendered twice once in 3d an then anti aliased in lined cartoon the two images were then combined with a alpha channel.

You got it pretty much right. In japan it was Space Cruiser Yamoto while in the U.S. it was called Star Blazers. I like it :)
