Excellent use of Koji if that's him in the first two!

Difficult to tell if you've done this all in Poser! There's so much rain! LOL Whether or not, it's quite an exceptional work!!! Thanx for the tease!

Wow, I don't think 3D comics can get much better. Not surprising though, considering you made it. ;) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

P.S., I'm kidding. I know zero about manga influences, this was just the first thing that popped into my head.

Nice works. I never tried manga style. I have a script in mind with lots of Aikos (and *grunt* I think I'll need to purchase Hiro). My style is clearly realisticMessage edited on: 12/28/2005 01:50

Daniel, This is a very stylish and fine panel-story. I especially appreciate your use of color. Most people who attempt this style either are so intimidated by BlackAndWhite style, they never develop a distinctive color pallet and usage. Very effective, especially your reds. I like the choices you have made in "noise" in the backgrounds. And your character poses have life to them. I like the way you slice your panels, quite rhythmic and counter-balanced. This invites the reader's interest. Question: are you using the "glow" effect in After Effects (one of my favorites)? I noticed one typo/spelling: it's 'forty' not 'fourty'. Best of fortune to you on this ambitious effort! Really enjoyed it. Hope you complete by the NY show time. ::::: Opera :::::

Ya know, I read that a bazillion times and never caught it. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind comments. To answer your question. The figures were rendered in Poser and the rest is Photoshop. I've used aftereffects on a number of occations but in this instance, its all Photoshop.
Thanks again for your nice words.
Regards
Daniel

Again, no dig at your work. Very, very good example of what the medium can do, and the fact that you're not outsourcing the rendering to another app is breathtaking.

Daniel, your stuff looks great. Amazing acutally. I've been working a "de-posering" my stuff for a while. This is what I've come up with. It's a standard p4 render, washed through photoshop about 4 different ways.rowan_crisp posted Sun, 12 February 2006 at 12:23 PM
Huh. Are you using the Panopticum Engraver plugin, Caffeine?
caffeineguy posted Sun, 12 February 2006 at 1:27 PM
I'm using the halftone screen and the poster edge visual effects plugins. I takes about 30 minutes to apply the effects. I'm checking the Panopticum Engraver plugin though.
