To dirty up the textures you could use lowsmog3 as a diffusion map - works really great. The tree and 2x4s look they come from inyerface - not sure about the chest and crate though, or the clothes. And Noel has a tutorial called 'Footprints in the Snow' that you might find interesting at http://free.prohosting.com/%7Elilwolff/Sharings/Footprints.html Snow or Sand the technique would be the same. The only suggestion I could make, would be to lose the shoes, from this angle they appear to be high heels. I would say that walking and standing on sand would pose a bit of a problem wearing these.. Other than that, its a fine effort.. Cheers ToolMan

Everything is great except for perhaps the water, a bit of tweaking with the texture ought to fix that up real nicely though. -Aezure-

I think it all looks pretty cool, but if I were to make one suggestion, it would be to make the wood texture much smaller on the boards and the side of the box. The grain seems too large for the objects. Maybe a bit of beach grass sticking up in strategic places would help "dirty it up" as you say, especially at junture points like the base of the tree and the edge of the stream...
