There are sculptures and ornaments of all kinds these days that you can buy and put in your garden...but I've seen a lot of things that doesn't really "fit" in a garden at all. Not if you follow what is considered being "normal" anyways.

Now...normal is boring and after we moved in here I've done a lot of walking around. This place is old and used to belong to the Hall across the road a long time ago. The wall I posted as a panorama the other day is more than 300 years old and there's been stables and gardens around here for more than 1000 years now.

So, by posting this lil neat skull I thought I'd ask you to do the same thing. Is there anything among the plants in your garden that is a bit odd?

And no...I don't think this is a real skull and I have no skeletons in the closet either ;)

All i have in our garden and backyard is...dog-poop...sigh.

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Great idea! It would make a super Simon. ;] We have some odd garden sculptures, but I don't have any photos of them on my computer here at work. This is from the Morikami Gardens, just a few miles from my house.

Is that a cat or a frog? hehehe And I assume that the piccie above that is from a Japanese garden...right? They tend to have a certain look to their garden ornaments that you cannot find anywhere else. And those flowers in...is it glass?...are neat :D And yeah...I get this horrible urge to grab that skull and start reading "To be or not to be..." hehehe

Alas poor Yorick ! I do not have any notably strange things in my garden - I will have a dead fox tomorrow though if they don't shut up and let me sleep at night.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

I don't have a garden, only a concrete planter. The stuff in there stays quiet in winter unless disturbed. That is it.

PeeWee05 posted Mon, 02 January 2006 at 12:33 AM

My garden is too boring, only flowers and plants that I'm trying to grow!
