When I try to render above picture using superior or ultra settings, black dots appear during the render. The picture renders fine while doing test renders in final. I am using the 55.09 beta update (Vue 5 Esprit). Has anyone else used this beta, and if so, have they had this problem, and where they able to resolve it without having to rollback to 55.08? I'm sure I read about this same issue a long time ago, but can't find anything using the search function. The scene was setup using the 'Silent Dawn' atmosphere, I haven't changed any of these settings...

Try reimporting your geometry. I had a similar "blue spot" problem that went away after I reimported.

Ooooo! and I was just told by e-on to go get .09....eeek!

Life Requires Assembly and we all know how THAT goes!

I had a problem like this with V5 Esprit a while back when my system got to its edge with a scene. When I finally managed (after some dozen crashes) to render, one element had those. They disappeared after I changed the lighting setup from Radiosity to Global Ambience and adjusted the lights accordingly.

Thanks firebolt, It seems that the spots only appear when using radiosity, it renders fine with GI...

Maybe because your radiosity quality settings were too low? If not, please report to e-on, this is not right, and should be fixed in the next update. I'm trying GR now too.
