I used to have long flowing locks like J-art before I went into the service....now I have nothing..LOL!
That's one of the reasons why I didn't go into the military aside from the potential to get shot, having to get up early in the morning, and that sort of thing. Having some people cut off their hair is like the now bald Ricky Williams; it just isn't right.

Hehehehe from what I have seen you're more likely to get shot in a convenience store during a hold up here in the states or killed in your car.
Depends on your luck really. If you are lucky you are pushing paper in the midwest (and why would you need a buzzcut for that), if you aren't right out of bootcamp you are shipped out to some blistering desert and put on a one-man suicide mission as your first job.
Even if the chances of getting killed are low, I'd rather not join the military. I respect people who do it but it's not for me.
