It's not a Bryce topic, but if this landscape generator really renders in REAL TIME like advertised, it will be a killer app! Tree editor, infinite fractal detail, athmosphere and 3ds import? Wow! Have a look at their gallery. BTW, I just found their link in this excellent resource site: http://www.3dlinks.com/ NandusTempest posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 7:55 PM

Did you take a look at some of the close up pics they have.. For some reason I am not impressed..why? The tree's seems to just disappear into the ground (3rd image on right bottom), and the close up pic (2nd right middle) has a really weird depth perception to it.. Seems like the green foliage on the left is as tall as the tree limbs. Distance shots are great but other then that I really am not impressed. I will admit the detail in the tree leaves is awesome.. Correct me if I'm wrong or missing something.

Deathbringer, Your comments are quite valid, but I still have to see good quality add pics for landscape programs. It may be that the author of those pics is not very comfortable with tree design. As BlueBerry has it's own tree editor, we may hope that there is a lot of room for improvement. What I really want to see is all those wonderful details rendering in real time at 800x600 24 fps...
