*told* you I was slow..;) Ok.. have Peter Chov's UVmapping tutorial, and can follow it. Here's experiment #1..create a 512x512 texture and signeage in Corel Draw, apply it to a Wings cube, and render in Bryce (I know, you were wondering when I'd get around to Bryce..;) well, here's the result. I knew something was 'wrong' as soon as I made a cut on one of the edges, and found the face skewed to all get-out..;) I'm probably showing why I barely passed geometry, but I'm wondering..there's likely a certain 'logic' to carving up the model, depending on the shape. Is there a 'part 2' that explains this? it would be handy..oh..and here's the result.

I would just apply it object cubic or object top to get the same results and save soem UV mapping. I am just a lazy Bas!@#!@#. Save the UV mapping for last. I liek to use old UV mapper classic after I assign textures and colors in Wings I get better control it seems for me.

You use Corel Draw?

I never intended to make art.

I prefer working in PhotoPaint myself. Draw is handy for vector work and low end DTP (did a course book for my friend's school with it).

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
