*told* you I was slow..;) Ok.. have Peter Chov's UVmapping tutorial, and can follow it. Here's experiment #1..create a 512x512 texture and signeage in Corel Draw, apply it to a Wings cube, and render in Bryce (I know, you were wondering when I'd get around to Bryce..;)
well, here's the result. I knew something was 'wrong' as soon as I made a cut on one of the edges, and found the face skewed to all get-out..;)
I'm probably showing why I barely passed geometry, but I'm wondering..there's likely a certain 'logic' to carving up the model, depending on the shape. Is there a 'part 2' that explains this? it would be handy..oh..and here's the result.
