I think I was the last one in our forum to see the New Year. Haven't seen anyone from Alaska here yet. So did we all make it out alive? Everyone wakes up all cheery and bright eyed I hope. Everyone here has something special they give to make me believe this 2006 will be a stellar year. Peace!!!!

isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is

I went into London to watch the fireworks at the London Eye...I don't know what was worse, the crush of the people trying to leave or the after effects of a very cheap bottle of Champers I bought...and drunk with my good lady...:P Hope everybody had a good time anyway :) Cheers

Made it through ok, started off the morning (just like Christmas morning) with a big beautiful rainbow, which I took as a wonderful sign for the new year, then later today we had a terrible wind & rain storm and the power went out... So...made a big cozy fire in the fireplace and lit the candles, got up close to the fire, put my feet up, and pondered the new year... cup of tea in hand......came to the conclusion... life is good!!!! I'm ready for 2006... whew!!!!!!!! ;)

Thanks...but nothing special. The last 2 were: tripod mounted, no flash, f/3.5, 6.0 seconds, 7.1mm, focused at infinity, no zoom. Remote shutter release recommended.
