Now that's a blast from the past. Doug and Tony would feel right at home. Are you going to do the old-fashioned computer banks and consoles with the blinking lights of something more modern?

I've made some special "old-fashioned" (retro-style) computers. Will post some pictures in a few days.

ANY Irwin Allen themed poser stuff is always appreciated!

That would have been a great show if it hadnt been for the bad acting, terrible scripts and awful special effects.

Some people DO consider it a great show, and when you remember it's been almost 40 years, and people STILL remember a one season show without a closure, that says something for it. We just rewatched the whole series a few months ago, and it's FAR better then any of the reality crap on tv today, and much more entertaining then things like the new Kolchak, and some of the other new shows on tv.

Hey Garee, I like the show..but still feel it had bad acting, terrible scripts and awful effects.
Gareee posted Mon, 02 January 2006 at 10:46 AM
You have to look at the time frame it was done. Its no worst then Lost in Space, Star Trek, Maverick, Bonanza, and sure as hell isn't as bad as Gilligan's Island! LOL! For a 60's TV show, I think it's effects are just fine, and the acting was actually quite good, imho.

I understand...hey, I love Dark Shadows and you can't get more dated, awful effects etc etc than that.
Gareee posted Mon, 02 January 2006 at 10:57 AM
I just got the dvd collection of the remake of that,. but haven't had time to watch it yet. I loved Dark Shadows as a kid, but have a hard time watching it today. Same with Land of the Giants as well...

A few thoughts about the 2006 model...the tunnel itself looks like a solid cylinder.. I kinda like the original's set of rings, instead of a solid item....

Irwin Allen's Cookie Cutter shows with the monster from Lost In Space also being used in Time Tunnel, Land Of The Giants, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea adnasuem was typical of hollywood in the 60's budgeting their TV shows. You either loved them or hated them. Guess you can figure out from my website how feel about them. LOL! PS - If this is gonna be a freebie I'm offering the hosting file space! If it's gonna be for sale, you'd better let me know where I can buy it! ;)
