Hi, I just wanted to alert you all to the publication of a little picture book I created using images generated with Poser. The book is called: "THE SINGULAR AFFAIR OF THE MISSING BALL" A SHERLOCK WHIPPET ADVENTURE It's the first in what will be a series of humorous picture books featuring that intrepid canine detective...SHERLOCK WHIPPET! Together with his faithful boxer companion, DOCTOR DOGSON, they bravely solve dangerous mysteries and crimes perpetrated in and around turn-of-the-century London. It's a softcover book, seventy pages, in color, and suitable for everybody in the family. I created the book's images in the spirit of the "penny dreadful" pulp novels which were popular during the Victorian era. This is one of many illustrations. For more information about Sherlock Whippet and his exciting adventures, please go to: [www.sherlockwhippet.com](http://www.sherlockwhippet.com) And don't dawdle. The game is afoot!jjsemp posted Sun, 01 January 2006 at 6:24 PM

I received my copy in good order, and I can say that the book is as charming as it looks. I've been sharing it with librarian friends of mine who are not familiar with Poser, and they loved the style of it. I wait impatiently for the further adventures of Sherlock Whippet. :)
