Sad to lose my purchase info but even more so, sad to lose the great comments on my one half decent gallery scene.
But alas I could not be content with Northeaster.
I Truely tried.
But after looking through many old cd's, I found my user info, from 4 years 2 computers and 3 e-mail addreses ago.
Blizzard is a logon I had used here 4 years ago I could not resist changing back.

Heh. I like it. But I also had a good laugh when I recognized Peter's pose; it's exactly the pose you get when hanging from a flying rig...the sort of rig used in theatrical productions of Peter Pan. On a one-wire harness the clip is in the small of the back and comes up through the back of the neck of the costume. You end up with exactly that posture if you relax in the harness. Peter is more often in a dual wire (two clips at waist) so he can somersault in the air. Smart theaters go to Flying by Foy, and just this morning I actually got to fly a Foy...he had to go up to grid to adjust his track so me and two other guys hauled him on a rope all the way up. (We're doing Wizard of Oz. One single, one double, the latter handy for flying Glinda's "bubble" and the Wizard's balloon).

Interesting, nomuse. This is a result of 'center of gravity' and the harnessing point, one would imagine. Of course, since noone can really fly (unassisted), I guess we have no recourse but to stick to these idealistic notions. In other words, if one were to believe that flight could be achieved with pixie dust, then one should be able to, say, spin about their head (or anywhere one desires). blizzard: Oh, I know what a 'blizzard' is, having survived several in my lifetime... :) But being a geeky computer nerd, the obvious association is with a geeky computer game... ;)

In my original scene his position was straighter but it just seemed "fake" can I use that word here ;) eventualy I rotated him forward to where he houvers now.
I guess my perception on this is right on.

The small of the back center of gravity. Also where I try to put wings on Faeries & Horses.
Makes sense.

I would love to get hooked up to one of these flying harnesses. That would be cool!!!!

I tryed HangGliding once but my lessons never got me off the ground more then a few feet. I lost interest/time & never went back for more. Some day I will.
I recall that my harness was also centered in the same spot.
