Hey guys, Most of you wont know me, I'm from the Vue side of Renderosity. I'm actually making a personal calendar, not for sale or really anyone but me, for 2006. I find most calendars are SNORE INDUCING and am going to make my own. So I turn to you, my photo taking brethren. Do you guys know of anywhere on the web (besides google image search) that has high quality images for download? I'm interested in things like national geographic type pics or whatever. Just looking for nice photographs. Can you guys shed any light for me? I know u usually TAKE pictures, probably dont look often, but I figured I'd try. Again, this is for my own personal calendar. Thanks!

Can't help you Earth born images, but there are some space ones that are free to use :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

This is a pretty great site with some stunning photos. Not really sure if theyre free to use or not...i reckon they are for personal use like that though. #:O) I might add that this is also a pretty good site for all you photographers planning on going abroad. You can find some info about photo-locations and must-see-places. Anthony/aangus sent it to me when i found out i was planning another trip to Scotland. #:O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Arg. That last link would work but you have to pay to get anything of decent size.

This is a stock photo site where I have some stuff posted. It is all free, most requiring no permission to use. If you're patient with the search you can find some nice stuff. I believe you have to be a "member" to download but it is free to sign up and there are no annoying follow up sales emails or anything.
