I'm just learning other tools to work with models. The Japanese models are really neat, but they import to Vue in one piece. Can these models be brought into a different software and textured?

If you download a model and find it has only one material zone for the entire mesh, you need to load the model into a modeling application, explode the mesh, assign material zones to the component parts, and then you can use it. I use Rhino myself.
