Okay, I know you all have had problems with this software at some point but I don't use it as often...is it normal for a pose folder to just up and vanish? When I left for work today, I had a render going that used a pose from the Comic book pose collection. Well, I upon my return the render's all done but the that folder, with all the nifty pre-made superhero poses is just gone. How do I go about getting it back or will that require re-installing Poser again? Thanks. T

Gone from the library or from your hard drive? Have you looked in the poser folder to see if it's there? Folders don't just up and delete themselves. Have you done a virus scan?

What version are you using? - In P4, Poser will only display the first 256 (or 255?) folders in a library directory. Add one more and the last will disappear from the library display.

I'm using version 6. It's a folder that, to my knowledge, came with the program. I thought maybe it was just a memory issue or something (Since the check and plus sign went awol too) so I restarted my system. Still not there though, and nope, it's not in the Poser directory either. I know it exists and that I'm no crazier than usual because a model I was creating in an earlier posting, uses (and has in a memory dot) a pose from that library. Norton does a scan every day at 8pm. No probs there.

Okay, I think I found it ....but it's weird. I don't remember using the P5 based poses. It was filed under Poser 5 Poses>Male Poses>Action>Comic Book. I'm fairly certain I didn't have to go through all tht to get to them the first time. Does anyone out ther have an ACtion category in just their P6 Pose folder, just to confirm how much of a moron I may or may not be? I mean, as long as I have the poses in my P5 folder, I'm cool but I swear to you...it was just sitting there in the first initial P6 pose list. I mean it. Anyway, thanks for the help, I'm gonna use the P5 versions since I doubt there's any difference but I'd love to know if I was right.

well, maybe not... my inj morphs for V3 disappeared. I had them in my P5 runtime which I had saved when installing P6 when that was first released. Use them always...and last night...they were gone... The inj icon is there, but nothing shows up in the wheels section

I was talking to one of my friends about this just now and he said that in his P6, he has it all set up to look in his P5 runtime folder so he wouldn't have to waste time moving everything to the P6 one.
Did you use the P5 pose folder for the pose, then while you were gone Poser decided it needed to be back in the P6 one? shrugs
