I've believed this is so, and went ahead to start putting together a Jessi.PZ3 scene, in order to have something to start with when I begin using the Face Room. But, when I poked my nose into the Face Room a moment ago i didn't notice anyway to import her current state? Thus, I've become weary that Face Room MTs will export to her? = )

Not sure what you mean by current state, but there is an option to load current texture. The button is on the bottom left of the screen

Say I've adjusted several of Jessi's morphs, and she begun to take on a distinct look much like someone I know. It would be great if I could load that face shape into the face room to add texture to?

Not sure wbout that, it works the other way though, you can morph the face in teh face room and then export it to your model. John

You can apply only the texture from Face Room back to your model, but I'm not sure if you can take the morphed face from the Pose Room into the Face room to texture. Best you can do is try to fit your friend's texture to the default head in the FR, and then apply texture only. Not sure how well this will fit if you've morphed it drastically, though. friendlyrogue

Face room works with an universal face without morphs. At the end of the process don't forget to "Apply original texture" otherwise the new face points to a texture under faceroom or so.

Actually, the original texture is just what Angelouscuitry DIDN'T want to come out of Face Room. The whole thing is, she's managed to use morphs to create an approximation of her friend's face (I'm assuming a friend? :)), and now she wants to use Face Room to apply a texture map. So applying the original texture would completely eradicate the work she was trying to do. Angelous, are you trying to create the texture using the photo-fitting option in the face room? That's what I'd guess from your post. Would it not be easier to use the photos as a reference in Photoshop or PSP or similar, and create a texture map you can apply there, instead? Jst a thought. friendlyrogue

Yes, friendlyrogue, you've hit the button on the nose, except that long name of mine applies to my boyhood, and a sweet tooth }=^). Maybe we're expecting too much of the face room right now. It could be the tool to use for some serious skinning. After all stretching a simple photograph to a flat skin isn't something we're accustomed to. And I'm sure the FR is already talking P6 Vertex Counts(Geometry) into consideration. This is really why I asked where exactly the FR will be outputting the new Texture Map, so I could have an extra something to work with in photoshop! I'm pretty familiar with photoshop, am looking forward to my first attempts at skinning with my photos, but am sure I will need all the reference I can get. By the next version, or so, of Poser I'd expect they'll want to allow us to begin in the Face Room where we left off in the Pose Room. That would make going back into the Pose Room that more productive, thank you for highlighting this friendlyrogue!

Generated textures are being saved to Runtime/textures/faceroom.

The other alternative, angelouscuitry, would be to start in the face room with the default head, and work on the texture there... then bring it out, and begin to apply the morphs to the textured head, using it and the photo reference as a guide? jonthecelt (formerly friendlyrogue)

I think the Face Room will apply the texture to my pre-morphed figure. If if I'll be blind to it's presence in the FR, I might as well have it at hand when I leave. Then I'd already have a head start on tweaking the morphs a second time, as your refering to, after I'm finished with the texturing! = )
