Hi
I am interested to buy a very detailed photorealistic character for extreme closeups looking real and close to picture. It should be a character derived from V3 having already a lot of clothing and shoes conforming V3.
I have been considering Dina V on renderotica site. Is there any better product available anywhere, being Dina already 4 years old?
I have Poser 6 on Mac OSX.
Tks for your information and regards
Giorgio

Why not just use Victoria? What makes extreme closups convincing as photorealism is the texture, the skin shader effects, and the lighting/shadows. There are one zillion Victoria textures to choose from, and the shaders and lighting...you have to learn them. If you need a face that does not look like the default Vickie...once again, there are one zillion packages you can purchase that will give you a morphed Vickie facial structure plus a texture. I like the products from A_ just my personal preference, check her out here in Rendo. Also, you can use Victoria's morphs yourself to make the face not look like the default. ::::: Opera ::::: P.S. My friends on this forum know this is quite an unusual post for me! It's okay, I have not lost my mind!

Try this: " The Metropolitan Collection - Manhattan " Do a search in MarketPlace. ($15.00 ouch!) Or try "Micki" charater for P6.

Tks Opera.
May be I expressed myself not correctly... Actually I meant a photorealistic texture of face and body (i.e.Admana on this site) Too bad it is only for the face.. I would like the same details also in the rest of body. Obviously if I knew how to make all what you suggested I would. For the moment I try to learn from examples (textures already made and tutorials)
Hope to learn soon but most of the tutorials are for Poser 4 and for PC while I have Poser 6 and Mac and often the buttons or page layouts are different and misleading.
Sorry to have put such a silly request for expert readers.
Txs to Chippsyann. I checked your suggestion but it doesen't seem so photorealistic with high resolution. Anyway something to look at. Tks again.

face_off has realskin shader and hyperreal if you use P5/6 its a very large addon to render time though i never use photo-realistic textures, cept for marks majority of skin i make is just material room nodes

I have Admana and it's not just for the face. There are a few packages available: Head, Body, and Full

Anxcon, the skin shaders add less than 2% to rendertime.

Unicornst, that link doesn't work. I don't think you got it all when you copied it.

Thanks to everybody, very helpful. I didn't know about real skin shaders.. Tks Anxcon. Probably is just what I need, seems to be quite easy to learn and I can understand better now what Opera meant.

P.S.
I think I found what I was looking for. Two perfect textures so real by SAHARA:
Jose M3

Eva V3
http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=33920&ViewImage=1#Image
I also got Mac unimesh realism kit.
Hope I'll be able to use them all and get the result I am looking for
Tks again to everybody
Giorgio

I don't know if Jose was meant to be a celebrity look-a-like, but he sure looks like Roy Dupuis. As soon as I saw that item last week I instantly saw the resemblance.
