I just got a new PC and love it. In the past I've used GoBack to help protect me against computer mishaps and it's saved my ass many times. My question is, however, if others feel that GoBack has a negative impact on 3D applications performance? Any feedback in this department would be of help to me to decide if I will reinstall of perform "without a net" as it were.

GoBack?

Sounds like some type of system restore utility. I don't think it would affect anything unless you went back so far to a time before you set your preferences or something.

Goback has a history of being hoggy. i would look at retrospect or true image. Even ghost.system restore works for minor things.
No need to think outside the box....
Just make it
invisible.

GoBack works just fine for me. I regularly use Autocad, Cinema4D, Photoshop and PaintshopPro. And occasionally Painter, Carrara5 Pro, Dreamweaver, Rhino, and sometimes Turbocad 11. No problems at all on Win XP.
