I've tryed the force.net 3D site but when i inported them into bryce it just broke up like the pictuer... if anyone know where i can find out it would be a great help to my animation I'm working on... As i need it to complete my animation... many thanks Darkness... PS if anyone know how i can fit the problem of it broking up that would be a help...

I kinda gave up on trying to bring 3DS things into Bryce, it seems to work better if you convert to OBJ first and import that. The model at scifi3d came out pretty good that way, but it is 300K+ polygons

Try using a program like crossroads to convert the file to OBJ.

Didn't think about a link when I mentioned conversions. You can get Crossroads and others here.

Crossroads..it's also called Xroads (of course I'm at work and don't have the URL..;) Wings, and/or Blender will import 3ds, and export object (but Blender won't export 3ds, why is that?..;)

did you install the 3ds export script in blender? 3ds is an old and limited file system who needs it?

I use wings, and have used 3DS Max and in both cases found .obj files transfer into Bryce better than .3ds files.
