I have tried using primivol w/ a 3d shader multiple times and carrara chokes...becomes unresponsive. Defaults seem okay. Anybody tried this with c5? My understanding was this was ok to do. The shaders are certainly available from the selection option in primivol.

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.
