Not much to it really. Any moving parts need to be imported as separate .obj files in the Poser scene. Example: The lever would be a separate prop imported from the body of the gun. 1.) Line up the parts to fit eachother. 2.) In the Heirarchy window make the moving parts children of the the base prop. 3.) Turn off the bend property for the props. 4.) Move the JP centerpoint for the lever to the end of it so it rotates to your liking. 5.) Save it to the props library That's basically it. I haven't done it in a long time. But I don't think I forgot anything. -ScottA

Give your prop morph targets, otherwise it will need to be a figure. bB

We still have a tutorial. If you would like it let me know. I can get a link for you to download it. Sharen

It's not that hard to make the prop into a figure, for something like a cocking lever on a Winchester. I've done it for several gadgets. Poser will tolerate quite a few misalignments between the boning and the components in the mesh, but it's better to get into the habit of making good alignments. If you use point-at (which lets you build an hydraulic piston) the bone axis really needs to be parallel to the mesh structure. If it's an existing prop, it's worth checking to see if there are specific materials for the moving parts, as that can make the grouping much easier. (I think I shall go and try this with one of Questor's freebie Winchesters from Daz.).
