When i export my poser files to a obj and then open them in cinema4d the models are so small in the C4D world. Is there a setting i can use when i export to give them a more larger scale size? I know i can just scale the models but just seems so strange that this happens, is the normal and anyone else get this?

I still use P4 so cant comment on the latest. All 3D apps have their own scaling which basically means either importing things from Poser and building things in your app to their scale or re-scaling them. I know its not helpful, but its the best I can do. To rescale exactly, you would need an object of definable size in Poser to measure and calculate in your C4d. All the best Mike

Get the Riptide importer exporter from spanky, that will give you a much easier import path including preloading all textures but alpha mats. import and export at a scale of 1000 the setting is in the riptide import interface.Jules53757 posted Sat, 28 January 2006 at 3:37 AM
Or try the free Scaler by Maz, here inthe free stuff, when exporting an obj from poser you can scale it by every number you want, 100 x is a good number, and they will work better in 3D apps and the same thing is the other way around.

not really any need to do that as C4D can scale automaticly based on file type in the persons prefrences, the reason I meantioned the Riptide plugin is becouse it preserves all the grouping and texture refrences on import so importing even whole scenes is extremely painless.
