I'm seeing a strange material effect in a scene with the Mil Dragon 2 and the Dragonling, both textured with the Mil dragon 2 Map. My initial render (lower right corner) looked fine. Then I moved the dragonling a little. The next render (main picture) had the wing textures screwed up. They look ok in the textured view in the pose window (lower left corner). Any thoughts? Poser 6 (6.0.2.118), Firefly render, Windows XP, 3.8 GHz, 4GB RAM.

For some reason, it looks like a different transparency map is being used on the wing textures - from the 'hand' shape on the wings, I'd suggest that somewhow, it's been swapped to the dragon body transmap, or somehting similar... check the mat settings, and then try to re-render... jonthecelt

In the material editor everything looked OK. But even when I manually reloaded textures, they still rendered incorrectly, sometimes after some very minor change in the scenne, sometimes even on first render after loading. Then I noticed some of the texture files were being loaded from my Poser 4 directory, even though I was pointed to the Poser 6 runtime. (I recently copied my Poser 4 libraries and textures to Poser 6 as I migrate all my operations to Poser 6.) When I deleted the Poser 4 Mil dragon texture directory, everything loaded from Poser 6 and the render worked correctly multiple times. Removing the Poser 4 runtime from Poser 6 didn't help, although I don't think I restarted Poser after doing that. I'll be looking for these conflicts in the future and may be removing more from the Poser 4 runtime. I just not sure yet that I've copied everything I need and that I won't need Poser 4 again.

Poser apparently still has issues when two files in different folders have the same filename.
