I'm planning on doing a couple of renders of space scenes. Does anyone know if there's any models around of 'wrecked/damaged' space ships ? Or..if not models..how to create an effective looking wreck without access to modelling progs, apart from Poser ? (p 4.03) :(

Someone asked about that awhile back. Here is the thread. Perhaps you can get some information from it."It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.

freyfaxi, you might try asking in the "market place wishing well" forum, merchants look in there for suggestions also. You might also like to ask Stonemason as I already asked him about one a few weeks back and if more people ask he may just do it as he did say it was on his back burner. thefixer, poser coord.

Omega in the RO Marketplace used to have one as part of his set shuttle. Maybe he can make it available to you. It was only a smallish two man ship. There are two views of the non crashed one n this pic. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=328186&Start=104&Artist=Richard+T&ByArtist=Yesx2000 posted Sun, 29 January 2006 at 8:26 AM
You can always wreck one yourself. Use Poser's magnets to bang and tear it up, create a special transparency map to create holes in the hull, maybe add a rusty texture, etc. You'd be surprised at what you can do with an existing model. You know, I'm inspired now. I might just throw together a tutorial on this... ;)

The robot is Toon-Bot Chip. Not sure about the One eyed monster, tried searching MP and freestuff on monster - no success. On the ro'sity magzine discs theres some robots with a similar style of texturing. Maybe one of these ?

I saw that one eyed little guy in the MP earlier this year. I even made a post about it, but I can't find it now :( It's going to drive me crazy until I remember, hehe The advertisement for him was so cute...him holding up a sign asking "do you need a friend?" or something along that line. It made him all the more lovable, lol
