A few tips that might help: 1) As soon as you load a hair prop into the scene (and it's parented to the figure's head), go to Object > Lock Actor. This way, it will not move when you change the pose of a figure. I've had this tip on my website for a few years now. :) My Hair Moves When I Pose 2) For some reason, some MAT poses change the position of the figure. I have studied MAT poses and still can not figure out why this happens: there is no position information in the pose file, yet the figure moves. In the case of clothing, though, you just have to re-conform it to the character. --John

For some reason, some MAT poses change the position of the figure. I havent been able to reproduce this problem...and if it is truly related to the MAT file i think i understand why. once i decided to move to P6 i transfered all my MAT files to the materials directory and renamed them MC6 (backward compatability built into P6). This may have eleminated the posibilty of this problem for me.

Easy solution, as I just wrote to Chris. Load the hair and then lock it. It wont move.

I've had the same thing happen with P4. I don't know what the variables are bu with hr2 sometimes a pose or poses (positioning poses though not MATs will leave parented hair hanging in the wind. As Sean Martin says, locking it seems to work.
