I was an adult teen when that movie came out, thought it was real cool too. Now I'm too scared to watch it again, lol. Nice model tjohn!

Always liked the way the movie started out as a supernatural horror film and ended as science fiction. :^)

Nukeboy: According to the Phantasm website, there was a guy using a syringe to pump the blood through the sphere. When they did the take, they had a blood clot in the tube which delayed the passage of the blood. The operator had to push the plunger franticaly to get the blood to flow. Just in time the clot cleared and the extra pressure gave them what you see on the movie.....
