Found it using the search funtion for "crimsonmoon."Acadia posted Mon, 30 January 2006 at 7:41 PM
CrimsonMoon, what I do is read the threads and then at the bottom of the list of threads click "mark all read". That will mark all of the threads in that forum as having been read. The next time you come to the forum any threads you see will be threads that have been newly posted to. Trust me, you really don't want to go into your board options and get notification for new posts. It's a nightmare!!!!!!!!!

ThanX everyone! I am still learning the ins and outs of this forum and I feel a bit lost! The original post i was looking for was asking about how to create Fog/Mists in Poser>then the secound part was on weither if I create something in PSP, and save it as either a .jpeg or .png, can I import it into Poser???? But I can't find that question anywhere on the boards! I am searching but it is difficult. *sigh ThanX again CrimsonMoon

They turned off part of the search feature, so you can only search for user names and subject titles. So if you remember a word that appeared in the name of the subject title, or the name of someone who posted in that thread, then you can search for it that way. But you can't search for things based on the content of the posts themselves. Not until they either turn that back on or switch over to the new forum software eventually. You can also search by archive. Enter the year 2006 and the month 01 for January, and it will bring up an archive of threads that were posted in in the month of January 2006. If the thread was in December, type in 2005 and 12 for the month.

When you post a message, right below where you type it, there is a Notify option. Make sure that is checked then you will get an email when someone replies to it.

LOL, seemingly so, hehe I was looking for something yesterday through the search function, and I'm usually pretty good at being able to remember key words in posts within the thread, but for the life of me I couldn't pull up the thread I was looking for. Then I saw something in Community about part of the search function being turned off and that explained it all.
